Pottery Horse .. is this Majolica?

    Here we go again. I have seen much pottery rightly or wrongly that has been described as Majolica; from those descriptions I get a general idea of what I think Majolica is supposed to look like, but am I right in my thinking?
    Can anyone assist?
    I can’t make out what the mark is on the base inside that circle, but the is either a 15 or a 75 stamped on the opposing side
    Can anyone recognise the mark?

    Majolica maybe but it’s certainly not antique majolica.

    I don't think that qualifies as majolica.

    Blended glaze might be more accurate.

    No, I think it is mid-20th.. but I’m trying to learn the difference which is why I am asking

    also, it seems the one listed in the link above is in Los Angeles, California, yet I’m in the UK... the size is also different 16” in LA as opposed to 14.5” here.. that itself is unusual
