I bought this today from someone who got it from an early Native jewelry collection. I like the simplicity of it. I think it could be an earlier piece pre 1940s? It isn't in the best of condition as it was bent at one point and one dome came off but was put back on as pictured. Also appears to be some pitting? on the the smaller beads. Still looks great on my wrist. I polished it up a little bit as well. Would love to get the dent out of the center bead but it probably won't happen!

Get it to a good silversmith...spend a few more bucks. You'll be glad.

Very nice, 'tho I don't know squat about NA silver.

    Is it marked at all?

    Do you think it's Mexican?

No I don't think Mexican, should be Navajo according to the seller. To be honest I struggle with Native American pieces especially with dating them to the correct period.

If I were wearing it, I would love not to put any more dents in it. You can see how easily it could happen.

It could be Mexican easily enough, and if it's really old that wouldn't be marked either.

no, you're making a good case for Mexico....

I find the solid flat backed ones are not NA...
u can see the Navajo is open..

As an aside, I am not a jewelry person but as a small child I lived in the desert SW and was thoroughly charmed by both Mexican and Native jewelry and cultures.

Mexico silver can be incredible, and underappreciated in my opinion. Except for any piece I try to win in auction, that one will be appreciated and go way out of my budget.

I like whether Mexican or NA because it is different. Not the typical styles you see.
