Possible to identify this teapot?

    Any info on this teapot would be much appreciated! I have been looking everywhere for info on this combo of numbers and symbol (1885 + symbol icon).

    It's a coffee pot, not a teapot.
    I'm thinking Bavarian and early 20th century... but let's see what others say.

    The 1885 is a maker's design number, not a year, if that's what you're thinking.

    Coffee, certainly. I'd think Austrian or German. And turn of the last century, with that decoration.
