    interesting little charity shop find today
    cant guarantee its silver, could be a tinned or silver plated copper. but have a feeling it is silver
    its a bit like the old begging bowl i found in terms of style
    what would it be a salt, or sugar pot? missing lid?
    hopefully Aj, wouldnt mind having a look, as she knew exactly the age and origin of the the beggars bowl

    @Any Jewelry

    any other help or thoughts are appreciated as well

    Probably sugar.
    Part of a set, but pieces often end up separated from their siblings.

    There's a millionaire (owns half of the town) antiques dealer in our town and he was showing me an amber snuff box he bought off an old lady for £200, said I could have it for £500. ( worth over £1000 he reckoned)

    I politely declined

    Turns out the old lady robbed him

    Old lady 1 millionaire 0

    Went for $41 ! Did you recognize the box as clinker right off ?
    PS-Sad thing is in our Ebay world,a piece could actually be worth a grand til 4 more pop-up online next week.
    Theoretically just doubling yr money isn't enough insurance these days,w/ market fluctuations it's almost as bad as being a day trader.
