After seeing Evelyn's negatives in the Giveaway thread I remembered I had these I recovered from a house clearance.
The family lived in Hong Kong in the 50's and 60's and these images look to me of somewhere in Asia, possibly South East Asia
They are camera film measuring 5 x 4 inches 12 x 10cm, each are stored in its own plastic sleeve.

On the edge of each piece is " 95 Kodak Safety Film"
There is a small o between S and A of Safety.
They are in colour and not negative images.

    Edit.
Those colour ranges are part of the film.

They all appear to be of printed artwork (or painted or engraved, etc.) and not of live subjects.

I wonder if they are colour plates for a book or brochure.

    After reading Terry's Transparencies.

    I found this

In photography, reversal film is a type of photographic film that produces a positive image on a transparent base. The film is processed to produce transparencies or diapositives (abbreviated as "diafilm" in many countries) instead of negatives and prints. Reversal film is produced in various sizes.

So like a projector slide film, only these are quite big.

These may be what are called interpositives, used in publication processes. It looks like they were photographing old art prints. 4x5 was a typical film size for view cameras.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Interesting -- I notice the upper left one in the first image you posted has writing at the top, partially obscured. Can you tell what it says? Just curious... it probably just identifies what that picture is, or is part of a name.

Buding ___ or Burling ___, maybe?

Probably not important, but I was just curious... thinking maybe if these were published in a book that that could be a clue.
