Portrait of young girl signature

    U.K. jumble sale find. I thought it was well done, may have been a street portrait done on holiday in Rome but if so looked as if it wasn’t drawn at speed. Folded up at sometime too. Charcoal or conte crayon perhaps I think. Picture frame size is 23 x 19 inches. The 30 yrs framers are still in business.

    other than Rome 1972 ..... that siggy is lost in time....

    I would have liked the artist to do one of me......

    looked as if it wasn’t drawn at speed..........

    the face and hair ...no...
    the coat and fur collar .....yes..

    Yes, a street artist portrait I'd think. Spent more time on the face and less on her clothing as to be expected. Here's the coat, by way. Very of it's time. And quibble... a young woman, not a young "girl."
