Porcelain Trinket Jar- Made in Italy?

Could anyone tell me what this is? I've been trying to find the same one online but cannot find a match.

    Welcome, Merry. You don't give us an indication of size. Right off I'd say it's for rings, if it's fairly small.

    The cup part is about 3" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall
