    I wanted to run this set by a few more eyes before I sent it on its way. The design is okay, but nothing spectacular. The porcelain is vey thin & you can see the pattern from the inside. No marks of any kind that I have been able to find.

    The creamer is 4 1/4" to the side edge. The sugar is 5 1/2" to the handle on the lid.

    Most likely Japanese. Pre WWI, maybe as early as the 1890s.

    What is unusual is that the sugar and creamer are footed. Be sure to put that in your title.
    Hand painted with a lot of extras in the background.

    Thanks Pat!! :kiss::kiss:

    Do you think it would be misleading to refer to this as "Imari colors" or should I go with "cobalt blue & rust with heavy gold accents"?

    I'm with komokwa. I would not call this Imari.
    It's more like kutani trying to imitate Imari, if they did such a thing.
