Just curious about this one -- no great value as one finger is broken and some of the lace in the back as well.

But I have a "fussy" little window shelf in a spare bathroom, love to change out the odd figurine now and then, no big deal if it isn't perfect. This was at the GW for $4.99. I thought she was pretty well painted. Do you think Dresden? Anyone recognize the blue mark? Also a faint mark on the base. I suppose could be Japanese, but there are many little touches --fingernails painted for example.

I wish I had found it because I remembered it and not by googling all around the world.

Ah, the old Ebay boards! Can't believe you found that. Thank you.

"Germany" now seems obvious for the base -- I just kept seeing the first letter as a "C".... but sounds like we have a match for this.

    Thanks!
