She’s 6” tall, solid (porcelain, I think), working eyes and limbs... (plus adorable outfits. Lol)

She is painted bisque. You might find a name on the back of the head or back. Sometimes a little tugging at the base of the wig will reveal a mark. Don't be afraid to lift the wig to find out. It won't ruin the doll.

    She's adorable.

Also if you can still edit your photos, please go back and choose Full Image for better viewing. TY!

My elderly neighbor (born 1899) gave her to me in the early 80’s.

Your photo is much too blurry to see it correctly. I can see numbers...................

Why are you afraid to remove the clothing? Are there no buttons to be undone?

Are these better? It’s difficult to tell on my phone. I can’t choose the full image just large. Thank you!!

I found a photo of one similar.

The picture in the book is not all that great, so this one is not either.

When looking back at your photo, am I just seeing things, or does it look as though a sticker/label was once affixed to her chest? It almost looks like a shape of the one in the book photo. kestner150.jpg

It could be! It’s very light but the same shape... although the one in the pic doesn’t seem to have the same belly button?

Are you not seeing the option to choose Full Image as opposed to Thumbprint when you insert the image to post?

Yes, it does look it to me, although very light, but it's possible it did exist on your doll.

I don't have a book just on Kestner's, but you might find her by googling. Or a trip to your local library (if opened) to see if they have one.

@judy Nailed it! She is indeed an all-bisque Kestner. 150 refers to her mold number and 2/0 is her size. She's a cutie.

One of my sons called these peanut legs when he was a little guy. The waffle weave on the socks reminded him of the shells. While not exclusively used on these little Kestners, they are commonly found on them.
