PM Conversation: How to Upload Pics There?

Is there a way to put images in Private Message Conversations? The Upload A File button doesn't show...or didn't on the initial page. Thanks!

 

Don’t think it’s possible, I’ve never been able to do it.

I admit I’ve never asked a Mod about this so I’d be interested to know.

I do it the same way I upload photos on the board. I click on the icon next to the smiley face emoji, a pop-up window appears & I paste the link to the photo in my Auctiva account. Presto the photo appears.

 

Wonder if that'll work for uploading from my iMac? We gonna find out, PDQ! Thanks, Peggy...

 

You can copy & paste in images off the Internet, but not upload from a device unless you're a mod.

 

Click on Gallery.
Upload your photos into a new folder and name them.
Choose who you want to see your photos. You can choose public, private or to allow those you follow to see them.
Go to your private conversation and click on the photo or camera icon and you should be able to load them.

I upload them to a place where I store my pics, then copy & paste and hey presto!

 

...works for you, but I doubt it solves the fundamental issue. There is No place to hide...or, really, to be alone anymore.

 

... what IS the fundamental issue ?
( I thought you were asking how to post pics to a PM ? Did I misunderstand? )

I apologize for the confusion. Yes AJ, my post was aimed at the issue bosco brought up about sharing pics that might become public if posted on Antiquers.

Should I delete the post while I still have edit availability?
