Please help me id this

Hello everyone, trying to find out more information about this book

 

Well, you know it's "Ariel" by Andre Maurois. Beyond that, it's a biography of the poet Shelley which was first published in 1924. Don't know what the first photograph is of but it does say "Part I" so you may only only have one volume of set. Does appear to be a limited edition. Is the name of the publisher given anywhere?

Thanks for the quick reply. The first image is of a watermark hidden on the page, several of the initial pages have markings like this. It says copyright Bernard Grasset 1923. Also says 61 rue des saints peres.

 

This looks like it might be your volume. Price will be affected somewhat by ex-library and interior condition only "acceptable."
