I found these two looks like some kind of etching. I have been pulling my hair out trying to identify the signature for this artist. Please help.

    By eye I’ve been reading
Joseph Scullio, but that’s not coming up. I’ve been trying, for now that’s what I see.

I looked and all I found for Scullio was a different spelling Sciullio.

The first one looks to have a signature on the artwork. D2B36637-ED94-414F-BCF8-6DE8AE35E926.jpeg

The first letter could be G.

    Could these be charcoal?

I’m not sure if that’s advisable or not. Maybe someone will weigh in on that. If they were charcoal you could risk smearing.

I’m not saying this doesn’t ever happen but the first pic has a weave texture, etchings are normally printed on heavy good quality paper, you can usually see the dent of the plate on the outside edges of the paper from the plate, never seen this on canvas before.
