Please can someone help me identify this lamp? someone recognized?

Looks like someone pieced this together, possibly an amateur woodworker, and put an antique shade on it. See what others think.

 

Did anyone sign or mark it anywhere? In your searching try using bobbin floor lamp as search terms.

What about the lamp-shade? is it maybe worth any? or can u tell what year maybe? , it is very large

 

I'd call the shade Whore House Chic......

 

Not the shade I would have used. The lamp is very shed-made funky and the shade is bordello-tastic. I'd throw a drum shade on the lamp and call it solved, but that's just me.

 

I image the shade has more value than the base.
