Platform Rocking Chair

    Can anyone tell me anything about this platform rocking chair including if it has any value? It was my wife's grandmothers from Nova Scotia. We know she had it recovered but don't have the history of when or where she got it.

    1890s Eastlake-style walnut platform rocker. The value would be in the family history. I've had several similar ones that I could not sell in the U.S. Midwest for $25.00 each.
