We have an old family platform rocker. The rocker has claw feet and what looks like a gooseneck design on the arms, but there is no goose head. We would like to know an approximate value, but more importantly when would this chair have been made and who might the manufacturer have been. We are in MS and as far as I know, our great-grandmother was likely the original purchaser and she lived in MS as well.

    1. Welcome and 2. hard to say. It's American and if I were taking a blind guess I'd say 1930s or barely post-WWII. We normally don't do values in here, but platform rockers don't for much locally if you can move them at all. That may vary based on location.

Rosie the Robot. This is just temporary. It’s for the benefit of @James Conrad, who thinks he’s talking to bots!

Late Victorian. 1890 or so. Unfortunately, little value right now. In my Midwest neck of the woods, you would be lucky to get even $50.00 at retail.

Agree with late Victorian. One at a local estate sale was being passed by at $30.00 a few weeks ago.
