Plate marked SM China?

    Hi folks,

    I have had a set of these plates for a while and pull them out to research them every now and then. I thought I would ask you all for help. It looks to me like the mark is SM China. Are there any other ideas? If anyone knows who the maker is, please let me know. They have a 50s-70s look to me. They are edged in gold.
