You're welcome. I do think they're the same color though. If you search for lilac instead of pink, more hits come up. Worthpoint, Google Books, etc. Only one on Worthpoint actually looks purple/lilac. The rest all look pink.
    You made another good find!

    Yes indeed, rare color.
You see these quite a bit in "jadite" and black amethyst but I've never seen this color, though 900 bucks sounds a bit ambitious to me. Ya never know what the rare bits can do.

It's in immaculate condition correct? Even the smallest flea bite can kill the value on this stuff. It's not THAT old (30s), it's gotta be perfect.

So far no damages found, normal production flaws. But I will take a closer look.
Now after I know what the jar is I will try to find how rare the pink opaque color is. Maybe search different pieces in that color.

Wow, that's good you were able to see the 'sold for' prices. I don't have a subscription, so I didn't know what they went for. I found 3 on Worthpoint last night, but didn't save the links and for some reason can only find 2 this morning.

Those two listings were from 2007 and 2008. Both in the Thanksgiving thru New Years time of year too.
Does anyone else agonize whether to save good stuff for the best selling season or just seize the day?

I decided to put on a new face for awhile! I have so many inanimate objects with faces I've taken pictures of over the years. Wait til you see the rock tooth face jug as avatar. Eeek!
