Pineapple tree candle holder old or Pier 1?

    I found this cast iron pineapple candle holder and it looks old but it does also look like it may have been artificially aged. It stands around 11.5 inches tall and is very heavy. 3.5lbs. They hanging crystals are actually plastic though and they do look yellowed. Thanks in advance for any help or info.

    Pineapples don't grow on "trees."

    This piece looks like a holder/stand for a large candle.
