Pie Crust Flip Table info

    hi, this table has been in my 70 year old husbands family forever....from Eastern Canada.
    Any info would be greatly appreciated....

    Photos are not really sufficient to tell what I am seeing. Can you tell if table is solid or a veneer? Seem to see a joint line in the very center that does not extend beyond the splines. Can you tell what that is? Otherwise, the carving does not seem to be of the quality I would expect to see on a truly old example. Consequently, my initial reaction is that this was made sometime the first half of the 20th century.

    Here are some pics of a nice older one (still 20th century) for comparison.......
