Never heard the term 'motoped' before. I'd call it a scooter.

The 1960s were their heyday, I think your thing dates from then.

    How about Moped....

Moped or Motorized Scooter (Class 6D)

A moped is a passenger vehicle having two or three wheels and a maximum speed of 70 km/h, equipped with an electric motor or a motor having a cylinder capacity of not more than 50 cc with an automatic transmission.

Operating a moped or scooter requires a Class 6D licence. Holders of all other classes (other than Class 8) of driver's licence or probationary licence are authorized to operate a moped or scooter.

The holder of a moped or motorized scooter (Class 6D) licence cannot drive any other vehicles.

That's a scooter, not a moped. A moped is more bicycle like. If anything it looks most like a Vespa rather than a Lambretta. But not a lot like.

    Scooter.

Scooters were usually over 50cc and upto 700cc and were kick started.
Mopeds were usually 49cc and below and were pedalled to start.
    Nowadays both are electric start.

I used to ride a Lambretta SX200 in my youth.
    Later I rode a Norton Commando 850.
    Never did own a Moped
Nor have I heard of a Motoped.

Why they'd make a model that looks foreshortened and with impossible steering geometry is beyond me. It is uncomfortable to look at.

yes yes this is a moped....that little pic came with the description because it says ....or motorized scooter......so they just showed an example ..

I apologize for not using a second extra photo like the one above.
In the future .........( or , going forward..) I will be more precise when using photo's from web sites .

Can you ever forgive me ?

Whatever they call that thing it is a motorbike.

Scooter, the body is the frame, moped, lady's bike type frame, motorbike, man's bike type frame.

The term MOTOPED is a brand name for that model.
It is still a Moped as it is Peddle started and is 49cc.

It is described as "It will save you from the apocalypse"

    Yeah right.
