I recently acquired a bunch of pewter spoons, some individual pieces and several small lots of the different patterns. Was wondering if anyone might be able to give me any information on them.

    1. Have several lots of teaspoons (5 3/4" to 6") in different patterns all stamped LB on them.

    2. Rattail pattern spoons with no maker's marks, these measures 5 1/2"

    3. Four larger spoons, 7 3/8" to 8 1/2". The second one from the top (6th photo) is marked Paul Revere House.

    4. Two small cream and gravy ladles, one is marked Genuine Pewter WSN.

not too sure if all are from recent years. I remember a very old discusion where we found out that some pewter flatware were leftovers from a prison, because pewter is to soft to make dangerous weapons.
