I started out in 2011 with a single Naoto Hattori painting, and now I'm a full blown buy anything addict.

This guy is not famous. But, these are interesting. A flea market dealer had a few portfolios filled with different colors. Some signed, most weren't. I just liked these. They're each about 22" x 28". One of them has printing on both sides.

Interesting surrealist pieces, subject matter reminds me somewhat of Balthus.

I think of it as boardwalk illustrations. Very Coney Island or Asbury Park.

There's a few Balthus I just saw that have a strong resemblance. But, other Balthus are much finer pieces of art.

True,it's execution is cartoony compared to Balthus.I was referring to the
fetishistic nature of the subject matter.

The children remind me a bit of Henry Darger's work.
