Screenshot_20190811-162428_Gallery.jpg I will take a picture of this when I get a chance, but am attaching a photo of information on the back first. Does anyone know what any of this means? Also, I can't tell if it's original or print and what material. It looks like board on the back. There are some scratch marks on the painting, which I will post then. Thank you for any insight!

Sorry for screenshot, but my pictures are too large to upload, it says.

It looks to me like this is either a photo (by Jerzy Malinowski) of the original painting or a print of a photo of the original painting.

But that's complete guesswork without seeing the piece. :cat:

From the information on the back, it looks like it is, as @Jivvy said, a photograph of a painting by the artist Wojciech Weiss. The original painting is housed at the
District Museum Leona Wyczółkowski in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The photograph was taken by Jerzy Malinowski.

Yes, these things I have figured out on my own. Luckily, I also know that people still desire old items such as these. :)

Reproductions, aka “prints,” do not command anywhere near the value of the original. Some actual antique reproductions (ie, over 100 years old) can command a bigger value, but what you have is a relatively modern photographic reproduction of a minor European artist.

Based on some of her other postings, I think Kelly has left the building.
