PE Gane armoire help

Hi everyone! New to the site & love antiques. Purchased this a couple years ago but haven't been able to get any idea of what it's value is. Any help would be appreciated! The records of PE Gane from Cardiff England no longer exist & I have no idea how it got to the US.

 

Nice piece. Late 19th century I would think, though some of the UK members might know better. Assume that this breaks apart. That will be the key to value. Have seen some large pieces go for next to nothing at auction because no one wants to deal with them. If it breaks apart, I could see this with a $600-800.00 shop price in my semi-rural Midwest location. Might have to settle for less. Might do better in or near a big city. Might note that values are down. I could see this being double that 8-10 years ago.

 

Thank you, that's very helpful. Especially since Im in the Midwest. It does break apart into 3 main pieces along with the base and top piece. Its a big piece!
