Made by F. B. Rogers Silver Co of Taunton, Mass. Silver plated. A repro of the classic Paul Revere shape (they are all "footed" and shaped the same.)

See the mark about halfway down the right hand column on this page.

Unfortunately this one is in terrible condition and as silver plate has no scrap value.

I think is a 1883 F.B. Roger Silver Co Paul Revere Collection Footed Bowl. If it is, it is silverplate. But please wait for one of the silver people to weigh in

    Sniped.

I frequently see these bowls, in a variety of sizes, in my local thrifts. Virtually worthless.

We have one of those passed down in the family that's pristine and still in the box. After doing a little research it became clear they are dime a dozen. They must have made a lot of them.

I think there was a Paul Revere craze based on the Beastie Boys song in 1986.

Every household has one of those in a cupboard somewhere, often a trophy or similar. Unless of sentimental value, virtually worthless as above.

I got four left to me by my sister who got them from my parents. All had brightly colored enamel on the inside. Three were plate but the largest one was sterling

These types of plated bowls were often awarded as prizes. I had several that my father won for skeet shooting in the late '50s and early '60s. They sat on a shelf and tarnished for years, until I inherited them and they became useful as food dishes and water bowls for pets.
