I want a one roll of the above tape in black if anyone has a spare. Its for a picture surround restoration using original material. It ceased being manufactured decades ago.

I have stacks of different tapes but I only need just half a roll, I wondered if anyone might have a spare lying around. It was poor mans picture framing tape to cover glass edges rather than a wooden frame, but it was discontinued. Only one on eBay UK and that is £95 for 6 rolls https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JOB-LOTS...h=item2abff0954a:g:pEwAAOSwqkRb~KB0:rk:1:pf:0
Holly’s link is one roll for £14. I still can’t imagine what it is used for? So it’s used instead of a picture frame?
Yes and it sets really hard unlike normal tape. I'm not paying £14, I probably only need about 18 -24 inches.
As you want it in black and there is no black tape in the standard non acid material, you can make it yourself with a black non acid paper around 60-80 grams with amidon glue, there is no problems with moisture in normal condition, I make that when the need of a special color is not negotiable. The other possibility is to use the normal water glued paper and black watercolor for child, it's non-acid too.
