    Hi gang!
I am trying to find out the artist for this cool pen and watercolour sketch.

    Any ideas?

    No signature...

On the back of the frame and inside was written 2190 .That's all I know!

Bit of a long shot, but wonder if anybody recognises the style or handwriting....? IMG_20220723_135309.jpg

Not the faintest. My guess would be an art student in Paris in 1967. Not exactly helpful.

when i took an art class she had us sign and date everything so you could go back and reflect on your progress( or lack there of) I second the idea of student art.

I see no merit in it. Sorry!

What kind of surface is the sketch done on? Not to be facetious but... It looks as if someone created a sketch around coffee stains.

It looks like someone at a cafe in Paris embellished some coffee stains-nice,but w/o a sig or initials, how would it be ID'ed ?

I did a few stain sketches myself while nursing 10 cent coffees at Sambos & Dennys-free endless refills. We'd grab free crackers and douse them w/ketchup ! A 'Portrait of the Artist As A Young Man',defiantly, gleefully youthfully broke.

    Yep-less money,less worries-and of course at 20-who pays attention to mortality ?
Orwell, poverty when one is young-'Down & Out In London & Paris'.It is more adventurous at 20 than at 70.

Boudie- Nay prob,if I loaded all me malaprops & brain farts in my old pickup truck the shocks would bust !
    Percy & Pete Shelly,Orwell & Hemingway,Bukowski & Miller-the great eternal river of verbiage.
It woke me up last night at 2-2:30,and I just had to write.
It's like Stephen King said re writing & His obsessive fertile output-'You assume I have a choice ?'.
    I don't think many good/bad/rich/poor writers have a choice-they must.

I talk to my cat fairly often; unlike my mother, she can hear me.

I wish you'd talk to the rooster a few streets over. Dude can't figure out when Sunrise is. or Sunset, so he sounds off all day to make sure he crows on time.

They squawk less but are more convival-I'd love to chat w/them but can't make 'em addicted to human handouts.'The Earth Abides',but we humans come & go.
