This seems like an early Schilling mark (since it's not impressed)? Would anyone know if that's the case?

I have no knowledge of Schilling dolls. I have never heard the name.

My book shows no photos of their dolls.

My experience with Papier Mache heads is limited, but all papier mache heads I've come across always had the most beautiful eyes. Paper weight eyes.....can't tell for sure if yours are paper weight, but they are beautiful.

If you google antique paper weight doll eyes, you could compare yours.

The winged head stamp is very prominent on your doll.

@judy, Was just clearing out some images and wondering if anyone else saw letters in that "winged blue head stamp" on the back of the shoulders?? They don't stand out much but they ARE visible if you look carefully.....and they may mean absolutely nothing!!!! I put arrows where I'm seeing them...........
(I also think that face in that stamp looks like she's wearing a nurse's cap of another era!)
