I think someone who wants them all reported it so others wouldn't beat him/her to them; can't think of another reason, but CL can't study each one flagged, obviously. This stack belongs to industrial park neighbor who asked me to get rid of them. He's a wholesaler of Indian food-very strong-smelling stuff!

The actual pallets that came under the stuff in latest truckload were all thick, solid, new white oak and we're keeping them to use as machinery bases since they look much stronger than average pallets. We mount most of our machine tools, those meant to stand on a floor, to heavy-duty pallets so we can move them around when needed. The makers of those machines usually want users to anchor them to a concrete floor with anchor bolts to keep perfectly level, stable, etc. but that's seldom absolutely necessary, and we've verified that with some manufacturers. Manual pallet jacks won't lift the machines weighing much over 5000 lbs, so we have a battery-powered pallet jack that's good for 8000 lbs and is self-propelled.

Could have been reported by one of the other people in this area who are trying to get rid of pallets, but can you imagine anyone going to that extreme for that reason? I can't.

 

Oh, I can.....there is an army of self-appointed Craigslist trolls out there.................I have been dealing with them for years. Many "believe" that you are hogging space by posting the "same things" over and over again. SOme are legitimate competition. Some "want it all for themselves" so get it taken down so they can get there first. And some have no lives until Mommy lets them out of the basement, so they troll around causing what they consider hilarious mayhem..................
