    Hi all,

I picked up what looks like a serving dish at a thrift store with HH The Aga Khan on it. I have searched Pakpor China and can find little about it other than that it's from Pakistan. My questions- how old do you think it is? How do you think it's associated with The Aga Khan? (Or is it?!) and what do you think it's used for? Any other info very welcome. Thanks a lot!

Just did a reverse image search on the mark and it's almost identical to the Noritake China one with no clear connection, very confused! Screenshot_20210207-163254.png

Maybe it has to do with the Aga Khan University in Pakistan.

I'd go with soup as well. perhaps for Hungarian Gulasch Soup.

he's one of the richest men in Europe, hides his money in Switzerland, was freed from any taxes in France by Sarkozy The Midget, and of course the English courts always rule in his sense because they love Pakistan so much.
he has the only aircraft immatriculated in Switzerland that has no flag on it because some people in his beloved pakistan and bangladesh took it as a target for shooting practice because they thought it Christian...
a despicable person if there ever was one...

Money and power can be very corrupting, both for those have it and those who are in awe of it.

    Hi Elen
Pakistan Ceramic industries (Pakpor China)was established in 1958 in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) and was very famous for its fine crockery and ceramics
It seems like this was specially made for Sir Agha Khan ( the spiritual leader of Ismaili community worldwide) the present Agha Khan’S father Prince Ali Khan Married to the actress Rita Hewreth. so at least it’s 50 +years old as East Pakistan became
I have seen the Pakpor China crockery at my home during my childhood in early to mid seventies and my sister still own some of them
    Cheers
    Tariq
