Pair swan vases

    As we've been getting some great comments in recent posts we thought we would try again with a pair of pretty swan vases. I've been doing some searches but struggling to find anything. Any help gratefully received!

    Hi Jennie wren - I think you'll find this pair is rather like the other posted except that this time they are probably continental rather than English. I'm not surprised you couldn't find much on them. When a vase is only identified by a three digit number it can be almost impossible to trace them to a specific manufacturer or even country.

    Agreed - early 20th C up to, oh, 1930 or so and Continental. Austrian, German or perhaps French. Same kind of history, in that they were sold as affordable ornaments for the aspirational!
