Painting On Masonite Board

    The company was registered 1961 so I guess the piece is from about the 60's/70's?
    The signature looks like Benet, right?
    Any idea of the location?

    Wild guess, since Catalina Island is on my mind. (Just read an article that Catalina Island will probably be sunk in *gasp* three million years! Tsunami Alert! Worry and wring hands. LOL!).

    Thanks.
    I can access the link. The sellers says it is a French artist but not with certainty. So, could be California islands or European ones.
    He also says that the style is influenced by Levier. It kinda look familar to me.

    Dead tree in foreground. Not so much Med. Also bleak colors. North Sea?
