Heres another painting of boats am fairly sure its signed Ws Chiang.There is a the name Rev Lemass written on the back of the canvas not sure how common the surname is here i havent heard it that often, but the most famous one is the one time Taoiseach of Ireland Sean Lemass.maybe they related in some way youd never know

Yea the Frame cought my eye alright

 

These paintings graced every SE Asian hotel room I stayed in in the 70s. Very evocative of the period, but also of the junks (boats) I saw in Hongkong.
