I found this at a very upscale estate sale in Coral Gables (Fla). The lady told me it was by Richard or Robert? (I can't remember) Garcia; a well known artist who had done commissioned pieces for the city of Coral Gables. But I can't seem to find anything on either name.
Maybe she was just a good salesperson or maybe it's another name starting with R - does anyone recognize the signature?
    What would I call this?
    Thank you!

1980s Modern. I don't know what the official term would be.

Well, it does have weird legs. But it's pink, not green. You sure?

I think the figure is supposed to be either a nude sunbather or a statue of a nude sunbather erected next to the pool. And it does kind of look like an insect. :)

    I'd also call it "modern."
