Painted porcelain lidded box

    This has been sitting on my desk for a long time. Picked it up at an estate sale I think. I’m sure not valuable but I am curious about age and origin. No marks that I can see.

    It's probably French and the shape is in the style of Camille Le Tallec Paris although I think this is earlier, perhaps late 19th century.

    Too bad it’s not Le Tellec. They go for nice prices. Wow. Thanks for the info!
