The variety of museums in the UK is humbling. The amount of archaeology shows on Brit media's also damned amazing-I'd relocate there in a heartbeat, but the hassle of packing it all up at our age just gives me a headache. Who knows-maybe rent the house out for 6 mos ?
My thoughts exactly! I could even claim citizenship by descent through my mother. I've been satisfying myself by taking a trip to the UK every other year. I've another coming up in 2025 for a week-long non-credit marine archeology course at Oxford in July. And there are paleography courses in London that have caught my attention.
