Hello, I am new to the forum and I am looking for help in identifying what age these rockers are that we purchased! I am so curious and also want to refinish them the correct way! Thank you for any help you can give!

    I'd guess 1950ish.

What do you want to do to them? Paint or stain?

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

sand em down a little and paint away !!!

thay are so weathered I doubt stain would be an option.....

I'm thinking paint them? I'm going to have to use a paint stripper on it. Color suggestions?? I found a color called Vintage Teal I like. Any other suggestions?

If you are going to paint them, I would scrape and sand. Use a primer like 1-2-3.

Stripping is a lot of work and can dry out the wood further.

    Color is subjective.
You should pick something that blends in or compliments your house colors, or what you want to start using for decor colors.
Teal at the moment is a popular accent color. You should be able to find pillows and other things in teal - at least this season.
