Our lady of Montserrat- age?

Hi all, I know we have had related discussions on the forum before. I found this little copper figurine today. Thinking it might be antique? What do you all think regarding age. A museum souvenir? Stands 12cm tall and the base is 6cm.

Montserrat is the most wonderful magical place. It has a spirituality which goes way beyond christianity. And also, views to die for and being Catalunya, an excellent restaurant. I’ve touched her.

 

Sounds great and like a bucket list place to visit. We love to travel but money and priorities (you know)

 

Even as a recent souvenir I still like this little figurine just feels solid,has a good weight and nice to ‘hold’ The ‘character’ really had me fooled me.. Looked to me like it had been handled and maybe polished for years (good job)

 

And it has a Black Madonna.
Most Black Madonnas are connected with pre-Christian worship. So is Sarah-Kali, 'Black Sarah', the Gypsy saint in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.

 

Even though it was mass produced, it is still a symbol of the strong power you can feel in Europe's ancient places of worship.
