    Hi everyone,

I got this framed print at VV yesterday for $3.50! I had a feeling it was very old not by the print itself but the framework. Take a look.

Differences between one print and another might just reflect the conditions under which they survived, but some of these prints have been reproduced.

Look very closely at any color on yours for a very tiny dot matrix appearance.

These were originally pages from Victorian fashion magazines. Hand colored. The most famous in the U.S. was Godey's Ladies Book. Yours is from a French magazine Le Petit Courrier des Dames. Given the size and laid paper, I would suspect a reprint as these were very popular decorative items, both original and modern copies, in the 1950s. (That is the period of your frame.)

    Agree with what Debora said.
Except judging from the frame, I would have said late 1940s early 50s.

I agree. I wasn't precise with dates but absolutely a cusper.
