Origin, etc. of wool rug please

    Measures approx 52" x 31" Photos make it look a little more faded than it really is.
    I assume it's hand done? Any thoughts, pretty please!:kiss:
    I'm not sure which side is the front, so there are pics of both sides.

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    I can't tell, but I hope somebody else can! Not only does it look faded, it looks worn also.

    The fact that you can't really tell front from back does argue for hand-knotted. As does the way the individual "knots" are coming off at the ends.

    Not a high knot count (per square inch) which often argues for something made for local use in a "tribal" location.
