I have started to go through moving boxes that have not been through since packing them in the 1970 to move from Texas to West Virginia as well as auction boxes from 1990s. I found an orange pitcher and it reminds me of the Kool Aid person commercial. There is a round circle with a handle displayed from one side to the other side on the bottom. This pitcher does not sits flat at an angle. The top is 4" diameter, the bottom is 4 1/4" diameter and middle is 6 1/2" diameter. The height at front of spout is 5 1/2" and back of the spout or the midsection is 7 1/2". The handle is 5" x 1" x 1". I was wondering who made it, what year and what it is made out of. Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

    Is this glass or ceramic?

Looks like glass with fired on color.

    Called a Ball pitcher.

The bottom looks like glass separated by orange color. Hope that helps. Rob

Anchor Hocking made a similar pitcher in ruby. I'm not sure if they did a fired-on orange or not or if other companies made their own versions. It's described as a 42 oz. tilted pitcher in my Royal Ruby (Hopper) book.

I found a couple orange anchor hockings online. One of the searches says it is from 1930s. Rob

When Fiesta dinner ware came out the colors were a big hit.
Other companies came out with items in the same colors.

I agree on the Anchor Hocking ID. I sold one many years ago.
