many thanks for support. I got exited with the find believing it was more genuine than not but after research it was unlikely the mark was probably fake as finding one one would be very lucky. I hope it will still be genuine and maybe the pattern ID would help. thanks

Welcome, Morris. I have a book called "Antique Porcelain Boxes, Identification and Value Guide" (Harran) which states the following on pg. 25 regarding Sevres Styles boxes: "It is rare to find an authentic Sevres box in the marketplace today as they are mostly found in museums and private collections. In the mid to late nineteenth century a Sevres style developed in France. Many box were produced by a Limoges or Paris factory and decorated by Paris Studios."

I think the odds are very good that you have one of these Sevres Style boxes. These copies are of value - anywhere from $75 to $200 according to the book - although those prices strike me as a little high in today's market and would depend at least partly on size and decoration. I hope this helps.
