Old wax wall hanging St. Maria (I believe) with Latin? Text on back

Hi, I have an aged looking framed wax wall hanging that I am having trouble researching. I believe it says S. Maria O.R.P. below the images, but the I in Maria looks like it could be a T. On the back it has text on yellowed paper that I think to be Latin. The frame is precarious and held together with small brads at each corner that have come loose, so I don't want to handle the piece a whole lot. The frame is 6" by 5" and the work inside is 4 3/4" by 3 3/4". Saint Maria passed at the age of 12 and the wax rendering in this does appear to be a young girl. I'm hoping someone can help me with a possible age and area of origin on this, as well as what the O.R.P. stands for. I would think Italian, but I'm not certain. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Think this is the Virgin Mary with the child Jesus, not a saint who died at the age of 12. If it said OPN I would think ora pro nobis (pray for us); ORP is something this non-Catholic would have to research.

Have seen pages from Latin religious texts used to back pictures before, usually as part of an attempt to make the item seem older than it really is.

Not Saint, but Sancta. Sancta Maria is Latin and means Saint or Holy Mary, aka the Virgin Mary.
According to tradition she was 16 when she had Jesus, so to us indeed a young girl, and her ascension was between 36-50 AD. So she lived until her 50s or 60s.

I've been told that pieces like this were made of beeswax and also served a function as air-freshener.

    I once had this one:

Let's get even more obscure ...

    ANNOTATION
Statue of St. John of Nepomuck (with a palm branch) from 1734, located in front of the main facade of the church, is an example of quality Baroque sculpture.

    DESCRIPTION
On the left side of the entrance to the church of St. Markéta, there is a statue of St. Jan Nepomucký. A square base with smooth walls carries a plinth with a richly profiled foot, which is decorated on the front and both sides with a double sunken frame with captured corners. There is a chiseled inscription in the sunken frame on the front side. On the sides of the plinth, sunken frames are filled with reliefs of St. Joseph with Jesus (on the right) and the figure of the Sorrowful Virgin Mary (on the left). The plinth is finished with an inlaid profiled cornice. On the plinth there is a kneeling figure of St. Jan Nepomucký. The saint is depicted according to traditional iconography in a cleric, a rochetta and a fur cloak - a mozzetta, with his head slightly tilted back and his hands down along the body. In his right hand he holds a palm branch and in his left a birette, the edge of which touches the mozzetta. A halo of five stars surrounds his head. The front part of the base is provided with a two-line Czech inscription cut in the modern capital SV. JOHN OF NEPOMUK//. On the sides of the base, above the reliefs of St. Joseph and Our Lady of Sorrows were preserved by inscriptions cut in the modern capital of S. IOSEPHVS. // S. MARIA.ORP //.

ORP seems to be related to the Virgin Mary somehow. OP's Mary is not Our Lady of Sorrows, so that is not a clue as such.
Ergo, ORP is an obscure term.;)

Thanks again every one. Watching this evolve is fascinating. A lot of the wax pieces seem to be made in Germany, but I have a feeling this is more likely Italian. I have found a few of those and they have some coloring to them as does this one, but I only find images with dead links. The statue inscription in Poland is spot on, but I get nowhere trying to connect it to anything else. But then my shabby research skills is the reason I am here. Thanks again.
