Old Taxco Mexican Silver?

    This will be the last one tonight...must pace myself, sigh.

    This is one of the first pieces I bought, IMG_1220.JPG IMG_1223.JPG over 25 years ago. Can't remember what I paid for it, but I never went over $10-$15. Ever. And then we ate beans and rice for the rest of the month. Any ideas?

    Nice pin, looks 1940s style, and the marks would be in sync with that period I think. Not a great expert of Taxco or Mexican silver jewelry, just know a little about a lot. Too bad there are no initials of the maker.

    It is lovely, and mid-century in style as toomany said, just a little later. The impressed 980 (930?) mark is from ca. 1950 onward, before that the numbers themselves were raised and enclosed by a rectangle.
