old rug ?

i just bought this carpet at a yard sale , what do you think, it's 14' by 20', she told me it's been in the family for years and that she had sears cleaned it a year ago, but it's still very yellow.

 

Those colors scream 1980s to me .

little bit of damage i will have to sew up

maybe a South West Pattern Wool Rug

 

Southwestern patterns in pastel colors were a "thing" in the 80s. It's likely.
