Old Pottery/Ceramic Jug Or Water Cooler

    Heavy pottery jug,maybe water cooler aluminum screw on top.There's some type of numbers on both side,look like J606.I can't unscrew aluminum top.Any idea what numbers or letter mean. SAM_5307.JPG SAM_5310.JPG SAM_5311.JPG SAM_5314.JPG

    Measures 9-1/2" tall x 7" wide.

    Try immersing just the metal top in very hot water.
