    Hi Guys

I have been tasked (by my mother) to try and figure out the value of some of these tea sets left behind by my granny. There are many more of different types and brands, but I wanted to try these 3 first to see how common/rare they are. I should note, they are all in good condition, just a bit dusty and needing a clean as have been in a cupboard for 20+ years.

I have attached images of the 3 sets.

The Rosina set is a full set of 12 units (12 of each - cup, saucer and side plate)

The Shelley set is a full set of 6 units (6 of each - cup, saucer, side plate + 1 milk jug + 1 sugar? cup + 1 biscuit tray)

The Royal Albert is a full set of 6 units (6 of each - cup, saucer and side plate)

I know the brands are clear on these examples and I could Google them, but there are so many variables I would appreciate any insight you guys may have.

    Much obliged

    Jonathan

Shelley is the only one with a little commercial potential nowadays and that is pretty selective.

There are more tea sets than tea set users nowadays, so they end up as box lots in general auctions. Sad but true.

Yup, and that Shelley isn't deco enough. The only Royal Albert that sells is OLd Country Roses.

Depends on how you want to sell them.
If you want to sell as a complete set, it will be difficult.

Many grandmother's like to have tea with their granddaughters. At least here in my area. Also, I have had a couple of people going to bridal showers in which they were to bring a cup and saucer.

I have a retail shop, and I do sell cups and saucers fairly regularly. Most of mine run $10-30 a cup and saucer, depending on maker and pattern.
