Featured Old Pitcher with Gold Trim

    Just picked this up at my local thrift for $4.99. IT appears to blown glass with an applied handle. Cut design with gold infill. Any idea who dunnit?

    You will note that the gold is in every case embedded in an engraved/cut depression in the surface. you got it for 1/100th of its value.
    With no knowledge I'd guess French, late 18th century.
