Old Pitcher Stoneware

    I tried posting in the pottery an glass section with no luck I did only give it a few hours though. But thought maybe someone here will see it that doesn't really look at that section. I have searched every different way I can think of an have came up empty. Do anyone have any clue on where this may have come from. It's 9 in tall 6 across bottom an 5 across the top. TIA

    It looks like salt glazed stoneware to me, and hand thrown rather than factory made with machinery. The problem of course is that this is a classic style, so narrowing it down to one century or another (or even one continent) requires more knowledge than I have.
